What benefits does gymnastics have for boys?
Gymnastics training is the BEST program for developing basic, athletic, core fundamentals that young boys must have to participate in any sport. Strength, flexibility and coordination are just a few of the needs the physical body needs in order to be competitive. Confidence, self esteem and self worth are also developed and cultivated to help each boy reach his full potential.
Our Instructors
Our instructors are USA Gymnastics Safety Certified and are USAG professional members. They are specially selected and trained to safely bring out the best in each child by encouraging each child to do their best. Without question, it is our special instructors who have made Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics the #1 children's program in Edmond for 10 years!
Recreational Gymnastics Curriculum
Our recreational gymnastics curriculum is based on USAG Jr. Olympic Program as well as
our combined 75 years experience of teaching gymnastics to children. Our curriculum is designed to provide a non-competitive, achievement-oriented program of life skills, conditioning and flexibility.
Is advancement into a more advanced program available?
The coaching staff is constantly evaluating the boys to make sure that they are being challenged individually. We have two advanced programs…Hotshots & Junior Olympians. These programs are available to boys with advanced skill levels and are offered by invitation from the coaching staff.
Which Class? Which Level?
We use school grade as the primary variable to determining your child's class time. We then subdivide each class into logical, homogeneous training groups. Levels 1 & 2 are grouped together so advancement upward does not mean changing days and times.
