Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics provides an extensive range of engaging programs in gymnastics, tumbling, and Ninja Warrior obstacle courses, all within a state-of-the-art facility. Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics has a reputation for offering innovative, challenging and, most of all, fun gymnastics programs for children ages 12 months to 13 years old.

Founded by Steve Hoehner, Oklahoma Gold embodies the belief that children can revel in the process of strengthening their muscles and fostering teamwork. As a family-owned and operated business, we have proudly served the Edmond and Oklahoma City communities for more than two decades, since our establishment in 1998. This enduring commitment has solidified our position as one of the state’s longest-standing gymnastics centers.

Policies and Frequently Asked Questions

Annual Registration Fee2023-06-19T14:55:02+00:00

The annual registration fee is $30 per student, per year. Registration fees will be charged to your account on the anniversary month of each student, each year and paid with the following session tuition. The registration fee is nonrefundable.

Enrollment Commitment2022-07-08T15:54:05+00:00

Enrollment in a session is 9-week commitment. When you enroll, you are paying for your child’s place in the class not their attendance. We do not offer refunds for tuition or registration fees (partial or full) for missed classes or drops during the session. Due to this commitment, we will reserve your child’s class spot for the entire 9-week session and hold it for them, even if they have to miss. We will also give you first priority to keep your child’s class spot throughout all subsequent sessions during the school year. Everyone will need to re-enroll for the summer session and for Session 1 in August.

Only the first enrolled class pays full price. After that, ALL subsequent class enrollments are discounted 10%.

Holiday Closing Schedule2023-07-10T16:36:07+00:00

We will be open and having classes on holidays such as Halloween, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Juneteenth, Columbus Day, Veterans Day and during Fall Break. We do this so that all classes start and finish the session the same weeks. Closing for just one day would cause all classes that day to be one week behind all the other classes, so we stay open for these holidays.

For July 4, we make a judgement call every year. If Independence Day falls on a weekend, we will not close for the holiday. If it falls on a weekday, we likely will close for July 4 only. Please watch your email if you are enrolled in the summer session and July 4 falls on your class day.

We do close for the whole week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and Spring Break.

Inclement Weather Policy2022-07-08T15:52:54+00:00

We will be having classes unless you are otherwise notified via email and text. You can also check our Facebook page and our Instagram account for closure information. We do everything we possibly can to keep classes as regularly scheduled, however we will not put our families and staff at risk if we feel it is not safe to have class. Please note, we do not give make-up classes for students who missed class due to inclement weather if we still held classes. We cannot guarantee we will make up the classes canceled due to the weather closure and we do not reimburse for classes canceled due to inclement weather.

If you miss the session start date, and there is an opening, you can still enroll in the class. We will prorate the tuition so you don’t pay for the classes that have already occurred. This will guarantee first priority for enrollment in the next session.

M&M Olympics Fee2022-07-08T15:53:34+00:00

In addition to session tuition, $30 will be charged to all Session 4 students (except Advanced Tumbling-n-Trampoline and Tiny Tots) for the M&M Olympics. The M&M t-shirt, trophy and M&M candies will be presented to all Session 4 students participating in the M&M Olympics at the event held the last week of Session 4 during their regular class day and time.

All current session students are given first priority to hold their spot for the next session. Up to three weeks before the start of the next session, our office will notify all current session families, via email, that next session tuition must be paid in full to secure your child’s class spot. If you are not planning on enrolling in the following session, you must respond to the email to let us know so that we can open up your spot to another child.

Unless you notify our office via email response to our next session payment email, we will direct debit your credit or debit card on file (the same card you used when you first enrolled online). To opt out of direct debit, or if your card information is not on file, simply pay your tuition charges no later than two weeks before the start of the next session. We do reserve the right to charge a processing fee to students who drop the class after the session payment processed and before the next session begins.

No Make Up Classes During School Year2022-07-08T15:53:28+00:00

During the school year we do not allow make up classes because most of our school year classes are filled to capacity. Allowing make ups would overcrowd class sizes and create unfair teacher/student ratios. We could not accommodate every make up request, so our policy during the school year is no make up classes. During the summer, we do allow students two make up classes if you miss your scheduled class. However, if you miss your make up class, we cannot schedule a make up class for that absence.

On a rolling session system, families and OKG must work together to ensure that enrollment is correct for the next session. If your child will not be participating in the next session, you must respond to the notification email and let us know you are dropping or else we will consider you as enrolled. Doing so will prevent our office from charging your card on file. Failure to do so WILL definitely result in our office charging your card on file. Once the session begins, we cannot give refunds for tuition if you did not let us know you were not returning when we sent the session enrollment notification email. Telling your child’s coach you are not returning will not guarantee you will be unenrolled. You must communicate with the front office via the session enrollment notification email. We do reserve the right to charge a processing fee to students who drop the class after the session payment processed and before the next session begins.

All recreational classes are 50 minutes and meet one day per week. You may sign up for additional classes if you desire.

We divide the school year into four sessions that are nine weeks long, starting in August and ending in May. Some sessions may include more than nine weeks because they may contain a holiday break, however, we do not charge you for those weeks we are not having class. Only the school year sessions are on the auto enrollment system. You must re-enroll manually for the summer session and at the beginning of the next school year session.

All session tuition is due in full at the time of enrollment. If you are a new enrollment, enroll online (easiest & quickest) or by phone with credit or debit card, or in person.

For special events such as Parents’ Night Out, Kids’ Day Out, Summer Clinics and Summer Camp we do not offer refunds or credits for cancellations because these events are limited to a certain amount of children. Children who cancel after the special event has started will not be given a credit or refund. Cancellations may be honored if given at least a 6 hour notice to allow us to open the spot to another child. Morning of cancellations for special events occurring in the morning (Kids’ Day Out, Summer Camp, Summer Clinics) will not be given a credit or refund.

We allow parents to enroll their children online. However, if our staff feels the child needs to be in a different level we will move the child to that class within the hour. If we cannot move them within the hour due to classes being full, we will let the parent know.

If your child needs to be enrolled in a different class for an upcoming session, the coaches will let you know which level to enroll them in. Since the coaches are the ones working with the child, they are the ones who can recommend level changes. Our office staff cannot always recommend level changes because they are not coaching the child.

Student Must Be Able to Use Restroom Independently2022-03-14T16:34:51+00:00

For all special events where parents do not have to remain present during the event such as Parents’ Night Out, Kids’ Day Out, Summer Clinics, Summer Camp, etc. students must be potty trained to go to the restroom by themselves. We reserve the right to not allow potty trained students to participate in these special events. If a student is enrolled, not able to use the restroom independently and there is not an adult to stay with the child to use the restroom there will not be a refund or credit applied to the account. However an adult is allowed to stay for the entire event in order to help their child use the restroom.

We will refund tuition only (minus credit card fees and registration fees) for all brand new students after taking the first class and are dissatisfied for any reason. This policy will be observed so long as our office is notified no later than 24 hours before the next class.

Email is our main form of communication with our families, so please make sure your email on the Parent Portal is up to date. We ask that you do not elect to unsubscribe from our emails because you will not receive our emails which often include important dates, alerts about inclement weather or notification of session enrollment. We do our very best to send you only the most important information in our emails, and we cannot be responsible if you have not read the email that was sent to you. Occasionally, we will send notes home with your child about Parents’ Night Out or the M&M Olympics. You can also find information on our website, Facebook and Instagram.

Girls of all ages can wear a leotard or comfortable athletic clothes. Leotards can be purchased in our pro shop. Please wear hair pulled back and no jewelry. Gymnasts will be barefoot. Girls in our Ninja Warrior Kids program are recommended to wear athletic clothes.

Boys of all ages can wear comfortable athletic clothes like gym shorts and a t-shirt. Gymnasts will be barefoot.

Students are welcome to bring a water bottle, but we do have drinking fountains in each gym.

Items left over will be placed in our lost and found. Please note: Due to the high volume of children’s items that are left at the gym every week, we clear out our lost and found once a month.
