Our Story
Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics is Oklahoma’s premier destination for recreational gymnastics. Our 35,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, completed in October 2025, was thoughtfully designed to serve gymnasts of all ages and skill levels. The space features three distinct training areas—the Little Gym, Junior Gym and Big Gym—each tailored to specific age groups, developmental stages and class goals.
Founded by Steve and Kim Hoehner in 1998 in an 11,200-square-foot space, Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics quickly grew alongside our community. In 2001, we expanded to a 20,000-square-foot facility to meet increasing demand and continue delivering high-quality instruction.
Expansion
In 2024, we took the next step by purchasing a new 35,000-square-foot facility just half a mile from our original location. This move allowed us to build a truly elevated gymnastics experience for both children and parents. Our new layout expands upon our original Little Gym and Big Gym philosophy and introduces the Junior Gym, a dedicated space designed specifically for 4 and 5-year-olds. This move allowed us to transform our former location into a dedicated team gym for our AAU girls team and for all of our tumbling programs.
What truly sets Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics apart is the intentional design of each gym, featuring exclusive equipment and layouts that set a standard not only in Oklahoma, but nationwide. Our facility prioritizes a fun, engaging, and effective learning environment for athletes, while also keeping parents connected. Dedicated viewing rooms for each gym allow families to comfortably watch their child’s progress every step of the way.
As a family-owned and operated business, Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics has been serving Oklahoma families for 30 years. What began as a dream for Steve and Kim Hoehner has grown into a multi-generational business dedicated to helping children build confidence, character and a love of movement. Today, Steve and Kim and their adult children remain actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the gym, ensuring that every family who walks through our doors experiences the same care, excellence and personal connection that have defined Oklahoma Gold since 1998.

Our Philosophy
Kids learn best when they are interested in the activity and when they are having fun! Parents want their children to spend the majority of their class time actively participating in the activity, not sitting and watching.
